Edilio Cecilio Rovira
February 1, 1934 – September 25, 2020

On September 25, 2020 at 4:15 am, Edilio C. Rovira went to be with the Lord after a long life
filled of faith, love and laughter. Edilio was known by many names including Eddy, Papi,
Grandpa, Abuelo, or "buelo." He also wore many hats including a caring loving Husband,
Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother in Christ and a loyal friend. He is survived by
his wife, Teresa Rovira Marquez, his children Marie Rovira and Edilio Rovira Jr, and his
grandchildren Christopher J Rovira, Brenda T Baddam, Brandon Ed Barrios-Rovira, Lauren
Rovira and Edilio Rovira. Most importantly, he is survived by his pride and joy, his great
granddaughter Mia Bella Barrios and soon to be born Great-Grandson..
Above all, Eddy loved God. He enjoyed family gatherings, playing dominoes, nature, animals,
and dancing. He was known for his humor and his jokes until the very last breath. He was
always very well groomed, dressed and his Paco Rabanne was his signature smell. He was also
known for his appreciative nature, generosity to all specially to his family and friends, for his
love of learning, and his hard working nature.
It's not goodbye, it's…until we see you later Baby, Papi, and Abuelo!

El 25 de Septiembre de 2020 a las 4:15 am, Edilio C. Rovira partio con el Señor despues de una
larga vida llena de fe, amor y risas. Edilio era conocido por muchos nombres, incluidos Eddy,
Papi, Abuelo, Grandpa o "buello". También usó muchos sombreros, incluidos Esposo, Padre,
Abuelo, Bisabuelo, Hermano en Cristo y fiel amigo. Le sobreviven su esposa, Teresa Rovira
Márquez, sus hijos Marie Rovira y Edilio Rovira Jr., y sus nietos Christopher J Rovira, Brenda T
Baddam, Brandon Ed Barrios-Rovira, Lauren Rovira y Edilio Rovira. Lo más importante es que
le sobreviven su orgullo y alegría, su bisnieta Mia Bella Barrios y el bisnieto que esta porn nacer
proximamente.
Por sobretodo Edilio amaba a Dios. Le encantaba las reunions familiares para jugar domino,la
naturaleza, los animales y el baile. Era conocido por su humor y sus bromas hasta el ultimo dia
de su vida. Siempre iba bien vestido y su Paco Rabanne era su olor característico. También era
conocido por su caracteristica de agradecimiento, generosidad para el projimo por dar todo por
su familia,, por su amor por el aprendizaje y por su naturaleza trabajadora.
No es un adios, es… hasta que nos volvamos a ver Baby, Papi y Abuelo!
