Eddie Tom Gatch
September 1, 1932 — April 22, 2023
Eddie Tom Gatch, 90, passed away April 22, 2023. He was born to the late John LeRoy and Mary Fincher Gatch. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bootie; his son, Steve; his daughter, Keetha; and his twin brother Johnny.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Gatch; his daughter, Cyndi Ziegler; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four nieces, four nephews, and multiple great nieces and nephews.
Tommy proudly served in the US Navy and then worked for his entire career as an avionic technician in the airlines industry, with both National and Pan American Airlines.
He enjoyed working around the home, was quite adept at many skills, and especially loved fishing and working on his boats.
He lived a long life, overcoming many obstacles to create a secure home for his family. Those who love him are grateful that he is resting in peace in the presence of God and is reunited with those ones he loved.
