Dolores Vera

Dolores "Lola" Vera, a beloved matriarch of her family, went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2023. She was born on June 19, 1926 in Havana, Cuba to Josefa Roig de Estevez and Rogelio Estevez Gonzalez. Lola married her husband, Pedro Vera, in 1953 and they enjoyed 55 wonderful years of marriage. Lola loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and was truly the heart of the family. She was an avid reader, a life-long subscriber to National Geographic, a talented chef, and a woman of incredibly strong faith in the Lord. Words cannot describe how deeply Lola will be missed.

Dolores is survived by her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in her honor at Vista Funeral Home on April 3, 2023 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
