Ciro Miguel Remedios

Ciro Miguel Remedios, 65 years of age, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 with his family by his side
at their home in Sunrise, Florida. He was born to Audeladio Remedios and Helmerinda Garcia on July
14, 1958 in Placetas, Las Villas, Cuba. He eventually migrated and settled in the United States, and
made Florida his permanent home. Ciro graduated in 1976 from Miami Springs Senior High School.
One of his true talents in life was towing and emergency vehicle recoveries. He became highly
respected and recognized among the towing industry. His sincere passion in life was to help his
community as if it were his job. Ciro wanted to support everybody that would cross his path in any
way he possibly could, and he did just that. He developed multiple businesses throughout his
lifetime. He was mechanically inclined, loved riding motorcycles, had a fascination for classic cars,
and was a highly skilled dominoes player. The simpler things in life were the key to his heart: the sea,
the ability to help others, and the love for his family. He was first the loving father to his son, Michael
Remedios. He eventually married Ibett Sorto in 2007 and had Genesis Remedios. He enjoyed being
the proud grandfather of two: Brooke and Caleb. Ciro was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer
in late 2020 during the pandemic. We were blessed with great resources that truly extended his life
more than we believed possible. He exhausted every treatment available while being treated at
Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Sylvester Cancer Center in Miami, and Cleveland Clinic in Weston.
Ciro fought so hard despite the odds and prognosis, with God by his side. After a 3+ year battle, our
warrior succumbed to this disease. He was the true personification of fight, hope, optimism, love and
strength. He was a beloved husband, a loving father, a genuine brother, a reliable friend, and a true
angel to so many. Ciro will be deeply missed. A viewing will be held on Monday April 1st, 2024 from
4pm - 10pm and again on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 from 9am - 11am. The burial will be held on April
2nd, 2024 at 11:30am. Both services will be at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 NW 57th Ave, Miami
Lakes, FL 33014.
