Carmela Tino

Carmela Tino left this earth on August 11, 2023.  She was born on October 5, 1923 in Newark, New Jersey to Nicholas and Angelina Pelosi.  Carmela was married to her love, Carmine Tino, for 60 years before his passing in December of 2005.

Her favorite activity was to make la spes' and cook large Italian meals for her family.

She was a resident of Miami Lakes, FL for almost 40 years.  At the age of 82, she moved to Melbourne, FL where she lived with and next to her granddaughters and then also her daughter until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her son Salvatore Tino. Affectionately known to everyone as Nana, she is survived by her daughter, Corinne Valentine, daughter-in-law Lili Tino, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A private burial service was attended by the immediate family.

She will be remembered as a bundle of love, laughter, humor, and playfulness by her family and all of those she encountered.
