Bertha Barreiro

Bertha Barreiro, 92, of Cumming, Georgia, died Saturday, January 4, 2025, with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Oscar Arias and Emilia Castro on January 10, 1932, in Habana, Cuba. She married her soulmate, the late Armando Barreiro on May 24, 1952, and they lived together in Habana, Cuba, before relocating to Miami, Florida in 1969.

Bertha is survived by her children Betty and Frank Palacios (son in law), of Cumming, Georgia and Odalys and Joseph Amador (son in law) of Roswell, Georgia. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Jaclyn Garcia and Sarah J. Amador.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 10:00 am at Vista Funeral Home with Inurnment immediately following at Vista Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Samaritan's Purse.
