Anne Elizabeth
Schuchman
May 13, 1934 – May 20, 2026
With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our wonderful mother, Anne Elizabeth Schuchman who left us on May 20, 2026.
Anne was Born on May 13, 1934 in Queens, NY, she graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts, with a Master’s degree in Education. Anne was a lifelong dedicated educator spending 25 years teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL), Spanish and French at Rockville Centre High School, in Rockville Centre, NY. Known for her brilliant patience and love for teaching she treated every student with respect and inspired countless young minds during her career.
After retirement Anne started teaching her favorite past time, the piano. She had about 20 students at one time and would put on recitals where her students could perform and show off their accomplishments. She instilled a love of classical music to all her piano students.
Anne was the definition of grace and unconditional love. She was a mother with a heart of pure gold, whose greatest joy was seeing her children happy and loved. Her life was a testament to kindness, selflessness, and quiet generosity. This boundless love was most beautifully expressed when she chose to adopt her four children, building a family rooted not just in blood, but in deep, chosen devotion. Her home was a safe harbor filled with warmth, where every child knew they were completely wanted and cherished.
She will be remembered for her gentle patience, boundless generosity and fierce strength. She is survived by her children and their partners, Delmy and Ralph Muro Daisy Schuchman, Isabel Schuchman, Marina and Rudy Vargas, along with her adored grandchildren, Andrew and Gabriella Muro, and Jenna Salinetro, who brought immense joy to her later years.
She also leaves behind many extended family members and close friends who will miss her dearly. She was welcomed into heaven by her parents, George and Marguerite Schuchman, and her seven siblings: Helen Holmes, Dolores Schuchman, George Schuchman, Joseph Schuchman, Gerard Schuchman, Richard Schuchman, and Paul Schuchman.
Please join the family to say a final goodbye on June 4th, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Parish, 19000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33029.
