It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alfredo Jose Rippes. He was born in Havana, Cuba the first born child of Alfredo Antonio and Juana Gladys who were overjoyed with the arrival of their beautiful and healthy son. Alfredo lived a full and meaningful life, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to his family, friends, and community.

A skilled and passionate contractor, Alfredo shaped countless lives through his work building schools, military housing, homes, and restaurants throughout Florida and Virginia. His craftsmanship and vision were a testament to his commitment to creating spaces where others could live, learn, and grow.

After retiring, Alfredo discovered a new passion in softball, which quickly became one of his favorite hobbies. He loved the camaraderie of the game and the joy it brought to his life, sharing the field with teammates and making new memories.

An outdoorsman at heart, Alfredo also enjoyed fishing and hunting, spending countless hours immersed in nature. He gave back to his community by serving as a Little League coach for his son's baseball team, a role that brought him immense pride and joy. His guidance and encouragement left a lasting impact on the young players he mentored.

His son Emmanuel was the apple of his eye. Their father and son relationship was as strong as it was beautiful built on a foundation of unwavering love and respect.

Alfredo will be remembered for his big heart, sense of humor, and ability to make everyone around him feel valued. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the many memories he created with those who loved him.

The family and Rosi Barres his love with whom he shared so many wonderful years and exciting adventures will hold a service to celebrate his good and well lived life. In his honor, they encourage friends and loved ones to take a moment to enjoy the outdoors, cheer at a baseball game, or share a story with someone dear.

Rest in peace, dear Alfredo. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
